White Collar Weapons : I’m Not In A Band

Not that talented.

I've had a deluge. I've had 3 whole messages to this blog in the last week – trust me, that's more than usual. They accused me (playfully!) respectively of

1. being in a band (and therefore motivated by self-interest)
2. being in the music industry (and therefore motivated by self-interest)
3. being Icelandic.

In reverse order…

I'm not Icelandic, I sometimes wish I was. If I was Icelandic I guess I might be in a band.

I'm in the publishing industry, I stop myself from writing about books too much.

I'm not in a band. I love bands, curiously I especially love Icelandic bands. And when I love them, I write about them. And if something good happens to them, I'll tell you – not because I'm in a band.

Xfm_logo So I'm quickly going to tell you that iceblah's favourite London-based-non-Icelandic band, White Collar Weapons, got the lead song from their debut E.P. played on iceblah's favourite London-based-non-Icelandic radio station, xfm. And excitingly, you can replay the glory here.

And if I can work the technology, you should be able to play another track from that E.P. "Birds" below.
