Ice Sculptures Are Nice

OK, it's a snow sculpture, but you know what I mean. I hope the very
beautiful and very talented (grrrr) Hafdis Huld won't mind but I've
stolen that picture from her myspace page. I just think that everyone
should see it. Isn't it fabulous? It is my favourite snowman-type thing
ever, and it's by an Icelandic singer so that makes it fair game to post
on here. Hafdis, that is excellent work. The best use of this huge load
of snow England has had this week since… well since I couldn't get to
work on Monday morning.
To bring this back a little from snowy creations back to the world of
music, and to keep my side of the bargain, I must tell you that Hafdis
has two UK gigs lined up in the near future. On 25th Feb she plays at
The Cellars at Eastney – which is in Southsea in Hampshire and then on
March 11th she'll be in London at Electroacoustic club at The
Slaughtered Lamb (near Barbican tube). I'll see you at the second one,
very highly recommended.
p.s. as well as myspace above, you can befriend Hafdis on Twitter here.
