Just a quickie, and only useful if you are in the UK. Tomorrow (Saturday 31st January) The Independent newsapaper are giving away a free 9 track CD of Sigur Ros. In today's newspaper is a long article and interesting interview which you can find here. It's a bit unclear what will be on the CD, the article here says that it will be "Sigur Ros album We Play Endlessly" which sounds a lot like the English translation of the 2008 album, but that has more than 9 tracks and does not contain Hoppipolla. I guess it will be a variety of tracks from across the years. Anyhow, well done The Independent.

Of course, just how useful this article is on this particular blog I'm not sure! I know that about 75% of visitors here are not in the UK, and I guess if you are here, then you're probably a fan of Icelandic music and probably own most Sigur Ros music…
